Is this the end of our friendship

So about two months ago my best friend, my other brother basically, his mom calls to complain to my mom how I have texted him at 5 in the morning. She says she has proof by cell records. I am telling the all out truth and saying I have never ever texted him in the morning. I explained everything to my mom and told her how irrational it is and how my dad would know I was texting at that time because he is up.
So anyways we haven't hanged at all since that day. His mom hasn't contacted my mom since that day. In summer we basically lived at each others houses and our moms were really good friends. After that day everything broke apart. I have only seen him once which was during Halloween for like an hour because we were going trick-or-treating. When my dad dropped him his mom refused to look at us, didn't even wave or say thank you like before and just opened the door and let him in. I am dating his ex which his mom barred him from seeing or contacting and he has no problem with it. But, I'm hurt. I feel like we are being pushed apart further and further. Sure we still talk on AIM and on our phones but it doesn't feel right anymore. I feel like something has been taken from me.

Yeah this sometimes happens.

If you really want it back, tell him and them maybe you two can work something out.

Other than that there isnt really much you can do. I know, its a helpless feelings. But I think you should try to build up the friendship again, and if it doesnt work you have to move on and build other friendships.

Throughout your life you will loose so many friends. Unfortunatly EVERYONE in the world does, its just how life is.
