anyone know food full of iron for anemics? -

Hi i have anemia and my friend told me that things like green drinks/smoothies would be something i should drink but i dont know how to make any :/ do you guys know of any or anything that has alot of iron in it that i could make??

If you want to make smoothies, I guess you could experiment with blending the greens and vegetables that Maeve mentioned.
Obviously you'd need some kind of blender/blitzer/smoothie maker. Then just shove the ingredients in - it's as simple as that! ![]() Although personally I would rather eat them as part of a meal. Maybe speak to whoever does the cooking in your house and ask them if they can try to incorporate some of the greens/vegetables mentioned, or print out some different recipes from them to try. Or have a go yourself! ![]() ![]() |

My mom thought I was anemic for a while, so she made me take this stuff in the morning that was just like an iron supplement. You could try that as well!

When ever I'm worried about iron I eat Boston Markets creamed spinach, its so good, and has a ton of iron.

Spinach but the good thing about it is you can put into a quiche etc and not even taste it
