Shopped and Bought My Own Food -

Today I had kinda no choice but to go grocery shopping for myself because my mom didn't have enough money left over to get food today. So I went to one of our Natural Food stores (it was my first time there) and looked around and picked up what I thought looked good.
I only wanted to spend roughly $30 because I didn't need a whole lot, and the food there is kinda on the expensive side (as I am aware eating healthier is more expensive.) I finally made my way to the check out (after so much looking  ). I bagged up my food and paid. ($28.43 not bad for what I got) It was a fun experience being closer to natural and healthier food other than being at Walmart or Dillion's (one of our grocery stores) being by all of the unhealthy junk food. It gave me a sense of responsibility and grown up by choosing my own food and paying for it  I just got done eating one of the fresh pizza (spinach, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, a type of olive I forgot the name of, on Naan bread  ) with some olive oil and sea salt fries.Aaah what I good dinner. Dubstep. Wub Wub.

I love natural food stores, thats always where I go shopping. Glad you got a good amount for the price too

haha yes! but now I need more food
 I only got enough for 2 days at the most for my school lunches and snacks.Sounds like I need to spend the night at a friends house so I have food

And to think I was excited about my mom and brother going grocery shopping for me yesterday... I gave them a list and they just went for me. Excellent!
I guess because I've been "on my own" for a while, I go grocery shopping by myself and it's no big deal... Although it's always satisfying going in with a list and budget and staying under budget when you get to the register.
