Grandmother. - February 25th 2010, 07:30 PM

Dear Grandma,
Happy birthday! And happy second birthday in heaven. I can notttt stop thinking about you. I would give anthing, absolutely anything to be in your arms right now telling you that I love you. I cant stop crying. I wish you where here with me. I would do anything to bring you back. I miss you more than ever. I love you.

Today... I feel horrible. Its only 330 in the afternoon and Im getting drunk. I want to cut so bad, but I cant. I know today is suppsed to be a happy day to celebrate my grandmothers life, and her second birthday in heaven, but I miss her. I miss her more than anything. Ughh. I just need someone to talk to, someone to be there for me. Anything at this point...

Hey,

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and that you are feeling so bad today. Anniversarys are always extra difficult and they do bring up lots of emotions. It sounds like you miss your grandma immensely and that she was a really special person in your life. I think your grandma would want you to be happy; she wouldn't want you to hurt yourself. I think that would have been the last thing she would have wanted. Perhaps you can do something special to remember your grandma today. You could make a cake, make a card, write her a letter saying how you feel or go to a special place she use to like.

I know today is a particularly difficult day for you but you can get through it. If you need someone to listen then I am always here for you so don't hestitate to message me.

Stay strong.

Thank you so much. I wanted to go to church this morning for her, but its snowing and the roads are really bad. I think later Im going to buy a dozen roses and go down to the beach where we layed her ashes in the water. Im gonna throw the roses into the ocean. I miss her so much.

You are welcome

I am sorry though that you are hurting so much right now. Your idea about going to the beach is a great idea. I am always here if you need someone to chat to.
