Unhappy Today would be her birthday... - December 22nd 2010, 01:25 AM

Today it my cousins birthday she would have been 33. She passed away this past February and it broke my heart. Growing up we were really close but I lost contact with my relatives and than I found out she passed away...I found out through Facebook talk about breaking my heart because my parents wouldn't even tell me...when i asked my mom she told me she didn't tell me because i didn't need to know....but she was my cousin. I connected with her. I just really miss her but its like I can't talk to anyone about it..It is soooo hard without her especially with Christmas being in a few days..

Hey There

How was Christmas for you? I hope you had an okay day despite feeling the loss of your cousin - the holidays can be a pretty tough time for a lot of people.

Why don't you try and get back in contact with your Aunt or Uncle? You might find some comfort in talking to them - likewise they might find comfort in talking to you.

Have you thought about writing things down about how you feel? Maybe you could even write letters to her - It might bring you closer to her?
Have you been able to visit her grave/ashes? Maybe doing that would help bring you closer?

Try and find someone in real life to talk to about how you feel, don't shut yourself off from the world and don't bottle up any emotion

I'm still alive.
Must have been a miracle
It's been one hell of a ride
Destination still unkown
It's a fact of life: If you make one wrong move with a gun to your head
You better walk the line or you'll be left for dead.

I'm a runaway train on a broken track
I'm the ticker on the bomb that you can't turn back
Thats right.
I got away with it all and I'm still alive.
Let the end of the world come tumbling down.
I'll be the last man standing on the ground
As long as hot blood runs through my veins
I'm still alive.

You have my deepest condolences. Remember her for who she was, the life that she lived.

I understand that its not easy for you loosing someone. It never is. Some people can cope with it better then others. See my uncle and i were close but i didnt get to see him much. I seen him on thanksgiving the year before he passed away. The last thing he said to me was you know your uncle carlo loves you baby. But thats a good thought for me. I love him and miss him just like you miss and love your cousin. All you have to do is not worry about everyone else. Remember your fun past with your cousin. She is in a better place and thats all that should matter.. If you ever do feel like you can talk about it, im here for you. My name is Brittany by the way.

Happy Birthday Cousin

hope this helps :P

I'm so sorry to hear that. Condolences to you and your family. I lost my cousin last year too and I didn't find out until my other cousin told me on Facebook. If you need anything, feel free to PM me because I know what it's like.
