Empty Shadow
You leave me here Unprotected and hurt With nothing but an Empty shadow that once was me I try to regain my human Form But something always smacks me back down To nothing but a boring Heartless shadow As each pain comes my Way. My shadow fades Ripping my heart out Each time. My heart is full of scars And wounds that won't Heal Rays of hope flash But never long enough To grab and take in Leaving me with all This pain that will Never go away.... ________________________ This poem is about the pain of grief. I thought it would be better to post it here. I think it is weird about grief how you could have a good day and have some word be said and it pull you back down to an ok day. Last Friday (December 9th) was the day my dad died a few years ago. I miss him a lot but I am healing. _______________________________________________

 December 9th is also the anniversary of one of my parent's death. If you need anything or want to talk about how december 9th should no longer exist on the calendar (lol?), PM me anytime.
