The Life of Pi - August 24th 2012, 11:04 PM

The Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I have to read it over the summer before freshmen year because I got into AP english. I have about 10 days left to read it (okay, I procrastinate sometimes) but I've already read the Sparknotes so I pretty much know a lot about it. Now I just have to read the real thing haha (: Anyways, if any of you read it for school, what were some of the activities/questions/etc. you guys were asked to do with the book?

I didn't read it for school but it's on my list of books to read for fun.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooood morning! I had to study it and I do love the book but we did the book for school and paid special attention to its notion of "Telling Stories" but now, fuck "telling stories", it's an awesome book haha.

I did it on my free will.

I loved every minute of it.
(I'm pretty sure there's a movie of it coming out this year.)

I do have one question for every reader of it, but it is a spoiler, but also a good question to answer to prove you read and understand the book.

----------
*SPOILER QUESTION*
In the epilogue, which tale was real: The animal one, or the human one?
--------
My teacher actually asked me this one. I wound up submitting a small essay with proof on my opinion of it. Bonus marks were won that day.
