Book suggestions - December 13th 2012, 08:03 AM

So, I read the Hunger Games and liked them but was interested in finding other novels that have the same premise in regards to the world changing. I think they are basically called Dystopian novels but then again I could be wrong. So, anyone have any suggestions?

Hey there,

BOOKS, I love books! Books books books books! I'm book mad, you see and I should know a few

Okay, let's see:

Ashes by Ilsa J Bick.
The Chaser's series (although that is more for younger teens, still good for a plotline.) by James Phelan.
if you like cats, you could check out Erin Hunter's books, it's about these clans whom try and live in peace but how can clans live in peace? They often battle and have to work together in places but they're pretty good.
My mind just went blank, NO! I'll probably add more later.
If you don't mind christian books, try Left Behind. It's about the rapture and how the world pretty much falls apart.

Jay.

The Immortals series, The Mortal Instruments and Infernal devices series, The sword of truth series and the Fallen series. I have them all and they are all good and I have heard they are similar genre to the hunger games.

OH MY GOSH, I have the perfect suggestion Try Divergent and Insurgent by Veronica Roth! (There's also a third book coming out in a year or so, and a potential movie in progress...) If you liked The Hunger Games, you'll probably really like these ones. Lots of action and exciting stuff and an adorable love story And I think they'd be considered dystopian novels.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've read the first three books in the mortal instruments and liked them. I haven't read anything else by that author though. I'll definitely be looking into these books.
