Coursework suggestions
Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for two texts I could study for my English A-Level coursework, I'm finding it a bit hard to think of any. The essay involves discussing a theme shared by both texts e.g. Gender, race etc

- Two texts
- One pre 1900, one post 1900
- Plays and novels are best
- Able to compare and contrast a theme
- Considered 'literature' (I get that's quite broad :D)

Re: Coursework suggestions
She's Not There by Jenny Finney Boylan is definitely about gender (and is definitely post 1900). I believe Laverne Cox has also come out with a book about her experiences being transgender, which would tell the story from a less privileged point of view (Boylan has been relatively well-off throughout her life).

As for an earlier book, I do not have suggestions there :)
