Reading challenges - June 21st 2017, 08:44 AM

Hey everybody,
reading challenges have been quite popular for some time now. Have you ever participated in such a challenge? Do you enjoy them? Share some interesting challenges you know - for example for summer holidays
Take care!
Sue

I want it to be the poet's Camelot:
green grass and high towers and ladies in gowns
and warriors strewing their paths with flowers.
I want minstrels and laughter!

If you watch book tube they have a whole bunch of read a thons with challenges. I participated in the emojiathon challenge this month. A few months ago I participated in time topple which is where you read books that are 500+ pages.

The main reading challenge I participate in is good reads. I set it for 52 books but have already done that so I recently edited to 150. Hoping to read those many books by the end of the year.

Yea, I also have a challenge in good reads myself. I think my goal is 25 books (I forget what number I set myself at) but it's a small goal and I have loads of time to read.

I've challenged myself to reading five books this year on Goodreads. I haven't completed one. Well, actually, I'm almost done with the first Harry Potter book but I don't consider that a single read.

a chapter a day isnt much but a book a day would be challenging.

Yes my family does. We all write down a number and say how long to read for and put it in a bowl. Someone picks one and whatever it says that how long we read for and how many books. I like to read.
