Ethnic Bully

I always get mocked for being German. I have white blond hair, bue eyes, and pale skin, and am about 6ft. tall. I look German at a glance, its very obvious. Unfortunately that makes me stand out like a sore thumb. I like to celebrate and share my culture, such as on German American Day, but always get called a Basically for doing so. No other group of people gets greif for sharing their culture, we watch videos in class on black acheivements during their month of heritage... same with Hispanics. Yet I get mocked for reading a book about Erwin Rommel (German Panzer leader and my hero), but they can go around with all their ethnic shirts and stuff... how is this fair?

I agree this sounds totally unfair ! People shouldn't be discriminated, picked on or laughed at because of their nationality or heritige. I think schools emphasise too much on the old divides of culture and race. I think that you should be accepted for who you are and what you believe in. No body is going to be able to change you!
Have you tried approaching anyone in school about this? such as a teacher? They might be able to stop some of the nastly comments.

The next time you get something said about your nationality or beliefs , try saying what you have said on here. Ask them why the find it funny to mock you but they would never mock a black person or a hispanic person for their beliefs.

Yep! Just what I would have said, question them everytime they do this (and i mean everytime!) And don't let them say anything else until they've explained why!
If they persist after they explain, Then question why they bully you.

Make sure you keep eye contact and maintain stern voice.
Make sure they answer! Because if its too hard for them (which it will be) They will leave!
