Upsetting - and possibly triggering - video link included in message. ALSO - I use a SWEAR WORD - so hang on to your hats! Hi Everyone!!  I hope you're having a dandy day. The video you are about to see [If it's still on YouTube] really got to me. So I just HAD talk about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IznXulXWbgE I was MY school's 'Casey'. [Except I was bullied mostly in elementary school - grades 1 to 7] And like Casey - I was bullied a LOT. And mostly by the same type of person that you see bullying Casey. [Someone half my size] Problem was - I NEVER defended myself. [At least not until I got to high school] And the reason why is because I was warned by the adults in my life that I had NO RIGHT to take advantage of my one OBVIOUS advantage. MY SIZE. So I took a LOT of abuse [Verbal mostly - but sometimes physical] from a lot of little creeps. And I just stood there. [Just like Casey was doing at the beginning of the video] So please forgive me as I take this moment to share a thought with all of those 'adults' from my past. To all of those 'adults' who shamed me into doing NOTHING to stand up for myself. [cough] F*CK YOU!! That said.... Good for you, Casey. I'm proud of you. You had a PERFECT RIGHT to defend yourself. I KNOW that was a VERY scary moment for you. But that's what bravery is all about. It's not doing something because you're fearless. It's doing something in spite of your fear. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEFEND OURSELVES! GREAT BIG HUG Craig!! PS For CASEY'S SAKE - I'm glad the 'bully' wasn't more hurt. And just so you know. CASEY was suspended! Gee - I wonder what message that gives VICTIMS of abuse. Hmm.....

I think what Casey did was a little extreme, he could have really hurt the kid but he still deserved it. I hope it sends a message to everyone out there that bullies people, they could eventually stop taking it and stand up for themselves. No-one deserves to be bullied for whatever reason.

aww i didnt get to see the video they took it down what was it about im curious is it on any website if so i would like to see it im curious but good for casey for standing up it is proven the hardest thing to do is standing up against a bully i prob never be able to do that

The vid got taken down, however I think that people who stand up to bullies have a lot of courage within them and it is great to see that they WILL NOT tolerate it.

HAHAAAAA AWSOME!!!
Friggin awesome. Loved the video. It was funny in my school people in the same year as me at first would pick on me. Then once I got them to stop (by force), it was the lower years who started having a go at me, thinking (rightly so) that school rules would favour them. School rules favoured them yes, but didn't save them. I just love the bit where he can't even stand up properly. Pile of jelly. No one's EVER gona bully the big guy again. Hell yeah. Good job... I'm very proud of that kid for defending himself. I've been bullied in a very similar way, and I couldn't have done that. Standing up to bullies takes a lot of courage, good on him.

Very good of him to do that.
I remember several years ago when I was bullied, all it took was a punch in his face to make it all stop. Surprising how something so simple to do can be so tough, but yeah good one Casey
