Not sure

Recently I went to see a counsellor about some things, and she thought part of it could be anxiety... This has never come up before and I've not really thought about it, I know nothing about it really.

Is there anything I can do about it? Can anyone help!? I'm kinda stuck.

Can you tell us a little bit more about the anxiety you are experiencing? What are you thinking/feeling/etc? What did the counselor tell you? Are you going to keep seeing her for your anxiety?

Well I don't really know I'd never really thought about it that much.. I seem to have some of the "physical" symptoms and that's all she went on really. She just said that it could be that, nothing else really.

I don't know if it will be her just yet, hopefully will find out soon... But it's more about other stuff really. I guess this will come into it though.

Hey Anna,
I think you should try to talk more in depth with your counselor or a doctor who can tell you if you really do have anxiety. Really the treatment depends on the symptoms you are feeling. For example, if on Sunday nights you constantly worry about going to school, you might try to go out with friends or watch a movie to keep your mind off the situation. Or if you have anxiety attacks like all of the sudden you feel terrified of everything around you and your heart starts racing, sweating, you need to escape, etc, you may need to carry around something that comforts you like a picture of someone or a little stuffed animal. I think since she was the first one who mentioned this to you, ask her. She might know best since she knows you well.
