'67 Mustang Fastback -
March 27th 2011, 08:36 PM
When I was around 12, I started working on a model car but I never finished on it. Now...9 years later (lol), I got another model car that I'm planning on finishing this time. I have a model car collection and since I'm getting a job (hopefully), I figured I could build model cars instead of being addicted to games and stuff. This is the beginning of the project:
![]() I mended a clothes hanger into a platform for the model car. That's a '67 Mustang fastback. I don't have a Mustang model car so I'm building one. ![]() Then I applied primer to get it ready for painting. ![]() I painted the first layer. Lookin' pretty good. I saw a couple problems but I figured the 2nd layer would fix it. ![]() And this is where I'm at now. Not perfect, but it's my first model car that I've actually painted. I'm working on it slow. I'm gonna apply the gloss tomorrow and start working on painting everything else. It's a long process though. I'm excited ![]() ![]() added the gloss. |

That is one hell of a sexy car my friend. Just need time until you get a life-size one and tell me when so I know whose tearing up the road with that sexy beast. It's like a beauty-and-beast all in one sexy package.
I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.

So far so good. Any decals after it's put together? Or are you keeping the clean polished finish untouched?
.... Now work on getting a real one.
