Applied at Torrid - April 11th 2018, 11:41 PM

So some of you know that my therapist said I can get a job but only for about 6 hours a week. I actually applied to Torrid but I put down I was available for 9 hours. two hours someday's and three hours another day. I probably should have done two four hour days. I probably would have had a better chance.

I basically haven't had a job ever. I mean I was a janitor for 4 months at H&R block when I was 16. I am just afraid that they aren't even going to give me a second look because of how I did my resume. I just feel like shit.

I wanted to apply without any help but looking back I think I should have asked for help.

I feel proud that I applied but feel like shit because I think I screwed it up.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are

We all had this problem. I hated the fact that you should always write a resume. In my opinion, everything that matters is people's character and life motives. Anyway, i hope that you will find a perfect job for you.

I think it's great that you applied. That's always the first step. It might be discouraging if they don't consider you but you applied and I that was something that was probably hard. You should be proud of yourself for applying. In regards to your resume, you could see if there is anyone that could help you such as a family member. Job searching is difficult and nerve-wracking. I hope that you end up hearing back about the job.

Best regards.
