Question Disney Princess - January 17th 2009, 02:13 AM

Well, I've decided that this summer I am going to apply to become a Disney Princess! I can't wait. I love kids and I love looking pretty n such. Anyone have any experience auditioning for Disney? Any tips/advice?

Re: Disney Princess - January 17th 2009, 08:36 AM

Hi there!

I managed to come across
this link which has lots and lots of tips and advice on how to get a Job as a character at Disney. Some of the things that would of said here are already mentioned in that link. And you might want to have a look at the Disney auditions website for more information about what to expect at the audition, how to prepare and other tips that you might find useful.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help but hopefully those links will be helpful to you.

Also, I just wanted to say how awesome it is that you want to become a Disney princess. I love Disney (can never be too old for Disney, I say. xD) and it would be my dream job to be a Disney Princess.

Anyway, good luck with auditioning and such!

If you have any experience with kids (babysitting, teaching, siblings etc) definitely make that a point. Especially if you can get references.

Just out of curiosity, which princess would you like to be?

I would like to be either cinderella, aurora, alice in wonderland, or tinkerbell. I think I would most likely get placed as tinker bell or alice because of my small figure and blonde hair

I hope I get the job! It pays well too! About $11.50 an hour which to me is a ton considering I am used to making minimum wage!

Learn how to spell the names. You are going to have to sign there name all day long. :P
Make sure your handwriting is nice too.
I'm not sure if they'll look for that but that was the first thing that popped into my head.
That sounds like a wonderful job! Good luck!

No no! DisneyLand, the orignal Disney is in LA. DisneyWorld is newer and is in Orlando. Goodness I think you should do some Disney research before you apply.
