Major college stress - November 9th 2009, 09:18 PM

I'm enrolled in a film production class, in my first semester. At first, I was glad I got in, and I still am, but the work is just getting too stressful. The teacher's are giving me so much "out of class" work, and I find there is too much and not enough time to do it. I have been recently diagnosed with asperger's syndrome and that makes it harder because every assignment they give us has to be done in groups and with crew members.

This leads to me not getting it done, and I'm getting so stressed out because of all the late work piling up! I just feel like I have no motivation anymore, like I can't think straight. I really do not want to fail! Like I had an assignment last weekend take 100 pictures, I booked out a camera for the weekend, but I didn't even touch it, I just sat there watching TV, I don't even know why..

Any advice?

Sounds like you're stressed and burnt out. Do you guys have any academic advisers or counselors over there? I highly recommend you tell someone what's going on asap. You don't want to wait too long before your grades are unsalvageable and go on your school record.
