Driving Theory Test? (Uk) - January 7th 2009, 03:14 PM

So I know I've left it a bit late, I've done a lot of mock tests (and failed them all..) and read up some notes but I still don't feel like I know anything for my theory test tomorrow.
I don't want to fail, I think I'll just give up driving if I do.
Any tips at all, or a guide to what sort of things I should revise?
Thanks in advance.

Just read through the questions carefully and be positive. You never know you might do better than you think. Best of luck :-)

I found that there are some specific questions that you do need to revise for, but alot of them you just need to read it slowly, think carefully and use your common sense.
remember that you have ages so dont rush it. I always rushed practice ones and got to the end and it still said 'you have 40 minutes left'
So take all the time you need to think, remember you can skip questions and come back to them later. Ans as said above, try to get a good nights sleep!
Im sure you will be fine, good luck

The best thing to do is to just read the questions carefully. Some of them are common sense questions, others require a little more thought. Take your time and don't rush and try not to panic too much.

I hope it all goes well for you, Beckie. If things don't go so well then don't give up. Keep going and try again

Take care,
Vicki

Thankyou all of you.
I just did another test and I passed
I think it was mainly because I got used to the questions though, so I'll just hope it's the same sort of questions. Thanks again, and now I'll have an early night

I going to give the same sugestion as everybody, do the exam and read all the questions with attetion, carefully and calm.
That's what i did. I made a lot of test's, failed some, actually the day before i made one that home and i failed, the next day, i was nervous, but when i get there, in silence, i calmed down, i read the questions carefully and i passed.
Good luck

If your going to the place in town then no worries its all pretty chill when your in there. Read up on your notes and make sure you know some basics. When you are in the hot seat; use common sense. For the clicky part of the test just click whenever you see something that might be a hazard. Don't hold back but also don't click like rhthymically either cuz they'll punish you. Like don't click every single time you see a car for example. If you see a bloke walking on the pavement then click. You'll be mint - don't worry!

Since the test has been taken I'm going to close this. In the future please look at the date of the last post to avoid bumping
