Well, I finished up Math, Human Geography, and Spanish last semester. I got a 79% on my math final (a C) and finished with an A in the class (got A's both semesters.) I got an 89% (B+, I think) on my Human Geo. final and ended with a B in that class. Then I got a 90% (A-) on my Spanish final and finished with an A in that class.

^^^^ she means it's a level results day today in the UK

I got A in biology (100% again!! Couldn't believe it)
A in chemistry (90%)
B in mechanics module of Maths (79% so one mark off, really happy because I struggled so much with mechanics and was expecting a C. Got a good mark last year so doing a bit worse in one module won't make a difference.)

So yeah I'm very happy and pleasantly suprised. Went to the pub at lunch so about to go to chemistry relatively tipsy hahaha

Re: January results - March 11th 2010, 04:18 PM

I did absolutely terrible and I am at the point of giving up.
I am too ashamed to even post my results here.
I am so upset because I tried so hard and I spend like 2 hours a night revising and it is just a waste of time.
I haven't stopped crying all day.

I only did good in my Religious Studies, 1 mark off a B. Looks like I'm going to be a Religious Studies teacher

No Uni will accept me...
I am now looking at foundation years or resitting the whole year in a different school with a different teacher and see if that helps.

Re: January results - March 11th 2010, 04:26 PM

I did okay, but I'm not really happy with all of my results.

Biology - B, 2 marks off an A. If I don't well enough in the next module to get an A I might resit the first module.
Chemistry - C, about 5 marks off a B. Might resit it next year.
General Studies - C. Really happy with this because I didn't think I was going to get a grade in it.
Maths (Core 1) - C. Kinda happy with this, hopefully I can get it up to a B with Mechanics coz I'm doing better in that.

Rach I'm really sorry you're not happy, don't be ashamed. Not meaning to
be insulting but your college sounds like absolute crap
so trying somewhere else is a good option. Don't
give up perhaps review how it is you're revising? I'll reply properly but I'm on
my phone now. Congrata on the RS mark,
my sis does that and always says it's solid.

Well done cara they're great grades and no reason you can't pull them
up.

It is crap. We have a parents evening next week and my Mum is getting ready for a fight so that should be fun.

It is just so depressing that I am going to be resitting resits. It makes me angry when the teachers suggest doing more work at home, I can't do any more work at home without giving up sleep or food.
One of my maths resits stayed exactly the same in UMS I didn't even get 1 more mark and I have still failed it.
I don't get how the school expects me to do C3 or C4 when I can't even pass C2...
