Artists who deal with stereotypes? - February 27th 2011, 03:29 PM

Hey everyone :]
Hope you're all okay!
I have my art exam this week and I'm doing it on stereotypes/culture I basically have to do 5 hours prep work.
Anyway, does anyone know any artists who deal with stereotypes/breaking stereotypes...maybe a little controversial?
Thanks! :]

I don't know of any famous artists that deal with strerotypes but being an artist myself I know that we deal with the sterotypes of being overly emotional (which is true is some cases--like mine--but still a sterotype) and being very dark.
