Unhappy The World Attacks :'( - August 9th 2011, 04:15 AM

So I feel like I'm going crazy!! And my world is attacking me! In the fall I will be attending a 'dying school' (a school where slowly all the funding is being cut) We'll have a student to staff ratio of over 20:1! It doesn't help that even though major budget cuts are being made there are still over 2,200 students! I won't be able to learn at all, I'm not going to be able to go to a good college! I can't go to college without some major scholarship money and I just don't know what to do I want to go to a private school but that's expensive too...I feel like I'll never become anything and like I'm going to work my tail off and still become nothing...please help!

20 to one is great. In my high school English class was 45 to 1.
Google scholarships. Look for local scholarships - talk to your school adviser.
Funding is being cut across the board. It's going to be difficult to find a school where they aren't. Just study hard on your own for the SAT and if you get good grades, colleges will see that. What high school you went to isn't huge. Your only 14, chill. =)

A student staff ratio of 20:1 is pretty damn good, I hope you're not complaining about that. My senior year of high-school had a ratio of 8:1, which was amazing but the rest were around 20:1 or more.

As someone who is already in university, I can tell you universities don't give a rat's ass which high-school you came from as their focus is on your grades. Remember, you can get scholarships from places other than colleges and universities because many large companies and banks will give scholarships.

I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.
