Smile Cross country runners! - February 1st 2009, 07:54 PM

Hey all you peoples, I jsu thad to post something about cross country. Its like the greatest sport ever. When you run xc you become both mental and phyicaly fit. and you feel good running xc because its all positive. first or last people are there cheering you on. its so amazing and its like the only sport that other schools cheer on other schools

I know the feeling, I did run cross country when I was younger (you never would've guessed now). I really do miss the rush you get, especially when I have music blaring in my ears.

i've spent all my school years getting out of doing cross country and never wish to do it in the future. i'm more of a team sport kinda person [although i do realise you run in teams..] although i am one of those who cheers people on, as one of my best friends is a keen long distance/cross country runner.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..

I used to love cross country.
I screwed up my back when i was 14 so I cant do it any more I still miss it sometimes.

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but its sinking,
racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
shorter of breath, and one day closer to death.

[offers him a cup of tea]

Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These,[points to some plastic cows on the table], are very small; those
[points at some cows out the window], are far away...
