You need to post a picture once your drawing has been completed!

Just draw whatever you feel like drawing. Whatever is on your mind. If you can't think of what to draw, draw a girl who doesn't know what to draw.

Re: What to draw - January 5th 2010, 09:42 AM

I love drawing people! Drawings amazing you an put as little or as much detail as you like, and with people it just... works . faces are SOOO interesting too!

However if you don't like the idea of perfecting faces try going here, and click 'refresh' until you find something you like. Also try other sites like deviantart... Just; browsee...

Oh ad if you really love this whole drawing thing, bring a sketch book around with you, when I used to do art a lot, a small sketch book meant ideas, anything I saw could be sketched down each in its own right a drawing, but then when it came to needing ideas All I had too do was go to the sketch book.

For a lazier way to do that, on the internet simply save images you like to a folder on your computer, it can be anything you like about the image, maybe its an expression, a colour, composition or subject, anything, but if you like it, save it

Also when I'm out, and I've only started this recently; since I started my 365 I've used my phone camera a lot more, whether its to take pictures of photos or scenes, but being stuck for ideas especially when you have to do something that day does suck! I'd say for someone who is going to draw it though, if you've got the time and are willing to carry around a sketch book, do that, you'll get SO much better, SO much quicker!

As a final note I used to hate this when I had to do it for work, now I honestly do it in my free time... I have a list of artists, photographers, designers, animators etc compiled and drawing influence from others work can also be a help too! For example if I take a photo bring it back put it on the computer, think something is maybe missing, I now have all these sources to go too too look for something to enhance it

As long as you can draw it, nothings holding you back but what you see... I'd like to say hundreds of hours of photoshop, and thousands of clicks later has made me better; and while yes I can do a lot more than I could before, looking at the work of others has probably been my main source for developing how my work ends up

How can one love themselves, when they love absolutely nothing?
Do something that is interesting. If it is not interesting, find out why it is not interesting.

Try drawing a tree that captures both the emotions of happiness and depression. I have something in mind, but can't explain it

Re: What to draw - January 7th 2010, 12:57 AM

Can you draw a scary grim reaper with the words “I’ll be there when you fall” somewhere in the picture?

You see I took art for 4 years in high school now don’t get the wrong impression off the bat! I suck at art however I love it so much that I keep trying to get better although I don’t see any improvement. I love dark art, once again don’t get the wrong impression I’m not a gothic sort of person I just like dark pictures.

Anyways if you’re feeling up to it feel free to give it a shot. This goes without saying – if you do decide to create a picture off this idea please pm me I really want to see it.

Thanks.
