Moving out - July 5th 2013, 11:52 PM

So guys I'm about to move out and start living on my own. I get 1200$ a month plus an extra thousand the first two semesters. I will also have a job. The apartment building I'm looking at yes this is pretty expensive I know is 650$ a month plus I'll have to pay for electric and my phone bill which is 100 something. My fiance will also be living with me and helping me out. So, will is this too pricey for what I'm getting each month or should I have plenty? I need ideas and help guys!

A beautiful thing is never perfect.

I think it's definitely do-able. You may not have a lot of left-over spending money after all is said and done but I think you would be able to get by on what you have for income and bills etc.

It will be very tight, but I agree that it's do-able. But keep in mind that you'll also need to make a budget for food and toiletries. I recommend making a list of items you'll need as well so that you can make sure you'll be able to afford the rent for the first few months. For example, you'll probably need kitchen supplies, towels for the bathroom, etc.
Will your fiance be able to help out at all financially?

And here you are living, despite it all.
