That movie was so funny! I haven't seen the second one yet.

I enjoy movies that are series, inquisitive, and thoughtful.
Therefore, I hated The Hangover. It was immature, moronic, inappropriate and rambunctious. I have no plans of seeing the second movie. We will ask nothing. We will demand nothing. We will take. French Graffiti, 1968 29078006202249 |

I thought the hangover was a good movie if you were looking for something without a thought provoking plot. I like movies like this every now and again but the majority of my movies are low budget and subtitled. It is hard to find a good mainstream movie. It is more what the film makers think of their audiences which is the problem.

I liked The Hangover, sure it was immature but I don't think it ever professed to be a serious movie and it was a laugh.
I haven't seen the second one yet and I'm very reluctant to since the trailer for it just makes it look like they've done the same plot again. ![]() |

Then why did you even bother watching a movie called "The Hangover"?
I like serious and inquisitive movies as much as the next guy, but if you didn't expect a stupid-as-hell comedy when you walked into the cinema/put the DVD in, then that was your own damn fault. |

And I feel like a huge indicator of the "inappropriateness" was the rating, honestly. If you hate that type of movie, then WHY would you go see it? Honestly. I thought it was funny. No, it was not thought provoking, but if you wanted that you should go watch movies like Inception. It was OBVIOUSLY a movie made purely for laughs. If you're too prude to accept a little crude humor now and then, well, get your head out of your ass and enjoy life If you don't like it, then just avoid it. You could easily tell from the previews what kind of movie this was.I haven't seen the second one yet, but I intend to. "'Colie, you should never be surprised when people treat you with respect. You should expect it.' I shook my head. 'You don't know--' I began. But, as usual, she didn't let me finish. 'Yes,' she said simply, 'I do know. I've watched you, Colie. You walk around like a dog waiting to be kicked. And when someone does, you pout and cry like you didn't deserve it.' 'No one deserves to be kicked,' I said. 'I disagree,' she said flatly. 'You do if you don't think you're worth any better...'" |

I thought it was a funny movie. You have to learn to take movies for what they are. The Hangover is meant to be a ridiculous, funny, and inappropriate movie. It's not exactly top-notch Citizen Kane cinema but damn it was pretty hilarious. I like thought-provoking movies too, but sometimes I just want to be entertained. And the Hangover delivered.
The 2nd was only ok though. It had its moments, but it wasn't nearly as funny as the first. |

I've never seen that movie but don't need to in order to know I'll hate it.

I'm a big fan of stupid-funny movies, but I did not like The Hangover. What makes it worse is that the people who do like it LOVE it and post all over facebook quoting it and talking about how awesome it was.
Not to mention Zach Galifianakis is very in right now, and he is very hit and miss with me. I thought Due Date was pretty good and Dinner for Schmucks. When reality is a prison, your mind can set you free. |

I liked the first hangover very much it had a lot of humorous twist and turns and their was never a sour moment. The secound one seemed very humours to me it seemed like every moment was filled with outrageous parts I like the second one just the same as the first one thats just me.
This is an intresting post I like how people have their own opinions on this movie. my name is implusive, stubborn as a mule, funny, awesome, risk taker, random, dude whats yours?

I don't watch movies looking for Shakespeare-type, extremely boring stuff. So I loved The Hangover.
"Now at the end of everyday I lie awake at night and wait
To feel the wires of my brain get cut and quietly rearranged, and Hear my beaten heart exclaim, 'Still, I refuse to let her go.'" So we escape to our mistakes for they wait patiently for us. Oh, how they always wait for me. If my fear has kept me here only my fear can set me free." |

I personally was disappointed when I saw it. It got built up on a ton of hype, but it wasn't my favorite movie. I though it was funny, I didn't dislike it, but I doubt I'll see the second one. Pineapple Express was better :3

Life is boring if you expect horribly mature movies and humor ALL the time. I work every day, and go to school in the fall every day. My entire life is mature, so I cherish every moment of immaturity in a movie I enjoy

I loved the movie, I watched it several times. It's not meant to be a serious movie nor a serious comedic movie.

As some one who loves inappropriate/random humor (I love family guy, futurama, american dad etc and personally am one of the most immature people on this forum when I'm with my friends) I found it incredibly boring, perhaps because of how overhyped it was.
Yes, it's that simple. Life for you has been less than kind So take a number, stand in line We've all been sorry, we've all been hurt But how we survive is what makes us who we are.
