Oh man. I saw this yesterday and cried at the Fred bit and Snape/Lily bit.

But I was disappointed in it. Anyone else think there were too many long silences [Lack of dialogue]???

Yeah, I agree there was quite a lot of silence. But it didn't bother me, because it added to the eerie effect I think.

I was just sobbing the whole time anyway :')

I think it was knowing what was going to happen, who would die, and that this was the end. I think I'm more of a potter nerd than I realised.

I didn't like how they portrayed Neville. I imagined him being more heroic in this one, but he seemed a bit of a laughing stock :/

I thought it was a very well-made movie. I didn't cry, but I did find the Penseive scene to be very well done (albeit a bit confusing for those who haven't read the books, perhaps).

The soundtrack was beautiful. I'm probably going to get it some time in the next few weeks.

Oh yes, the soundtrack was absolutely stunning. And I agree, to those who haven't read the books, Snape seems like he's just offering Harry some nice salty tears

I didn't actually cry over Fred, I thought I would. I cried more during the scene where Snape said "you have your mother's eyes"

It was awfully confusing for those who hadn't read the book, I agree.

Oh oh ohhhh I just bought the soundtrack. 'Lily's Theme' is a beautiful piece. Cannot be described.

[Though for some reason the vocalist reminded me of Doctor Who themes.....]

The movie was STUNNING. So sad.
The added scene with Snape holding Lily and crying was absolutely beautiful.

Also, if this works, am I the only one who was all "HELL YES! GO MOLLY!" at this bit?

I believe I cried on and off through the whole film, at least 7 times and I was sobbing when it ended
I cried right at the start because of Dobby, I cried whenever someone died
I cried at the end
And random moments just made me cry...

Seeing it again in a couple of weeks with mother... she's never seen me cryy... I'm nervous but I think I'm getting withdrawel symptoms from not seeing it... Best film ever! Can't wait till my birthday... I'm so going to buy the soundtrack and a few posters Xxx

I'll be honest, i didn't understand most of it... So it was mostly a blur, but i got really sad when Voldemort said Harry's dead and Ginny freaked out. Even though i knew he wasn't dead... It made me almost cry.

To be honest I found the movie a bit disappointing. I think they could have done a lot better but I will admit that movies are almost never as good as the book so disappointments are to be expected. It definitely wasn't the worst movie ever but I guess it wasn't what I expected. I did find certain scenes touching but I didn't cry. My favorite part was definitely when Molly came to Ginny's rescue!!!

I saw it in 3D and the best part for me was when Voldemort disintigrated and it looked like flakes of him were floating towards us. My friend and I simultaneously stuck our tongues out to 'catch the flakes' on our tongue, which would be quite gross, but I thought it was amusing.

I didn't cry, but my other friend was close to tears!

I cried so much at the snape/lily scene. The bit that really got me was "after all this time?", "always".

I really enjoyed the fi;m, I even watched it a second time.
With Remus and Tonks as well, so heartbreaking.

I was actually suprised cas I was expecting to be annoyed by things that they left out of books (I always am), but I wasn't annoyed cas I didn't notice many things that were different. The only thing that bothered me was the end when Harry broke the elder wand in two. In the book, Harry first fixed his broken wand, then broke it or whatever. But when I pointed this out to my friend she said she didn't remember Harry's wand being broken, so I guess it wasn't necessary.

I thought so. Yeah, that really kinda irked me in the last movie. There was a wicked close up of his face, and I sat there like "....wtf. His eyes are blue. They're definitely supposed to be green." lol

What's funny is Harry and his mom are both supposed to have green eyes, but Harry's are blue and Lily's are brown.

I didn't cry in either parts of #7. I cried in #5 for Sirius and #6 for Dumbledore. #7 had way too many deaths (Hedwig, Mad-Eye, a twin, Lupin, Tonks, Colin, Snape, Harry etc etc) for me to cry about any of them.
