Something that bothers me a little since I noticed it. When they rate the tributes before they start the games. What's the point of it? It's not like getting a higher score gets you any special treatment so what's the point of it in the first place?

In the book, it explains that the higher scores are more likely to get sponsors during the actual games.

Additionally, it allows the competitors to get an idea of each other and to decide who they might want to form alliances with and such.

They actually mentioned this in the movie as well. Just didn't spend much more than a line on it.

I liked it! It was done well, though Peeta's character annoyed the living shit out of me. That was true with the books as well, though.
