What song makes you most emotional when you hear it and why? Any emotion.
Mine at the moment (because it changes so often) is "I was here" by Beyonce. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLLzkLO8Sh4&ob=av2e If you haven't heard it before I recommend it with all my heart. It makes me feel so much motivation, sadness, hope... Idk how to describe it. For me, it depends on what is going on in my life. When I found out some people I know had cancer, "Cancer" by My Chemical Romance did. Skin by Sixx AM makes me pretty emotional as well because I can relate. "Lullabies" and "Therapy" by All Time Low have the same effect.

Ah, I have a million songs that make me feel really emotional. "Oh Comely" by Neutral Milk Hotel makes me really sad in a good way, though.
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." |

I got quite teary earlier listening to The Whip Hand by The Mars Volta, but I think it was just an overwhelming feeling of emotion. It's not a sad song or in anyway melancholy - it just smacked me square across the face in the best way and I felt overwhelmed to the point of tears.

There are a ton of songs. It really depends on my mood and what is on my mind at the time. Pretty much anything by Elliott Smith (Better Be Quiet Now, Between the Bars, I Didn't Understand). Some other stuff too, though it depends on my mood. Katatonia is another emotional bands.

For me it's "Together" by Ne-yo because the lyric always reminds me of my relationship with my fiance, how much we have been through and how much we love each other
