The Last King of Scotland
We just watched The Last King of Scotland with Forrest Whittaker in my English class. I loved it. Has anyone else seen it?

It's about Amin, the once dictator of Uganda and a Scot, Nicholas Garrigan who, through some unusual circumstances, becomes his private physicican.

If you have seen it, tell me what you think.
If you haven't, I definintely recommend it!

I loved this movie. I thought it was beautifully done and I recommend seeing it. That some scene when he finds out what happened to that one woman is so gruesome though.

I've watched it, and enjoyed it at the time, though I have terrible memory with any movies I've watched :p. I do remember the part where the guy sneaks away in the plane though!

I'll have to watch it again sometime.

It's a very good film. The whole cast, but Forrest Whittaker especially, perform really well.

Re: The Last King of Scotland
I thought it was an incredible film

I hadnt heard of Amin before and wasnt aware of what had happened and as such was completely drawn in by the nice guy image along with the main character and it came as an equal shock to me when it turned out how bad he was. It was so well done. Even if that one seen was a bit gruesome :s
