Mirrors scared me the first time I watched it. It was quite funny actually coz I was scared through the film and I came out and met another of my mates and went back in to watch it again xD.

Don't laugh but I'm scared og Signs, I won't watch it. It's only a 12 but everything about it scares me even the music.

The Grudge 2 really made me jump a lot.

I don't really get scared by horror movies..

Tho I did have a recurring nightmare that the person from Scream was trying to kill me.

The Hills have eyes...
40 Days of Night...

and my alltime worst - the blair witch project.
Five of us went camping and my friend thought it would be really funny to watch it on a laptop in this tent... I have never been more scared in my life!
Seriously I CANNOT watch that movie anymore!

Most romantic comedies since they make me sick far more than horror films

but like Sarah I have nerves of steel at room temperature (for steel gets quickly brittle with cold temperature ) or just too pathetic an attention span xD

I think saw is pretty bad, I think that fact that it could actually physically happen, unlike ghost stories, makes me think that.

The Hills Have Eyes (stupid friend pushed me to watch it lol nastiest thing ever)
Candyman (at the time, it scared me)

any remake of a classic scares me because they pretty much butcher a great movie *cough*Fridaythe13thHalloween*cough* Michael Meyers is my favorite and I don't recall him having long hair and being that idiotic....

nothing else really bothers me...I like scary movies

Haha I thought that was really funny...just the fact that when they got shot their head's exploded...and it was kinda predictable that someone was going to fall into the grindy saw thing.

Halloween directed by Rob Zombie.

Best horror movie i've ever seen. If you haven't seen it, rent it!

Rob Zombie movies really are horribly terrifying. Dr. Satan and Captain Spaulding? Really now.

Pet Semetary is one of my favorites, but I think it's just the story that I crave. I actually had a dream about that movie last night. I woke up really nervous and jumpy.

Yeah. I don't watch many gore movies. I don't like watching and movie, and then looking at a certain area of my body that just got ripped off in the movie and thinking... "Wow. That would hurt."

Remember that part of 13 Ghosts where the guy gets cut in half by the glass doors? And then half of his body slides down the door? THAT'S scary.

I can be quite easily scared, but halloween nr 5 almost made me jump out of my chair!
But that could have been because lack of sleep it was like 5'o clock in the morning.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was terrifying.

Oh wait, that isn't a horror movie. But it still terrified me more than any actual horror movie I've seen.

That was actually a horrible remake of a classic (from 1978) that Rob Zombie killed
People like Rob Zombie should just stay far away from old classics.

The Strangers.

I remember watching it with Jes at the movies and we were driving home to my house. It was raining cats and dogs, so hard you couldn't even see the road in front of you, and it was storming. I swear, I thought we were going to die. I was so scared.

The Hills Have Eyes. That scared me to death, I didn't even watch the whole thing, I was curled up with the mini DVD player in the middle of the day, skipping more than half the movie, and it still terrified me (somehow it was worse because it didn't seem to have a plot). I'm forever scarred by the guy who shot his face off...

I get scared easy.... I watched Poltergeist, which was mild enough, but parts of it still scared me (the end especially)

Also, Child's Play was pretty scary. I saw 1 and most of 2 I believe... And I'm terrified of SAW, all of them, even though I've never even seen any of them.

I'd rather die terrified

than live forever.

I completely agree. I dont like gore or ghosts or any of that rubbish, I like ones that could really happen like Saw and Silence of the Lambs. Psychological horrors rather than ones that make you jump

Those two scared me so much.
Halloween H2O (but maybe only because I was 13 when I saw it)
ooh I just saw Candyman mentioned. I watched that when I was quite young and I was really scared at the time.

It would be The Descent for me, although I haven't seen many horror movies.
The Blair Witch Project really creeped me out and The Ruins (most recent one I saw) was just plain disgusting......

The Ring (1 and 2) and The Grudge really scared me to death when I first saw them. I kept on having a recurring nightmare about the girl in the ring with the hair over her face, and the creepy noise from the grudge.

I've watched saw and it didn't really scare me. It just made me feel sick with all the gore in it.

I have a super overactive imagination, so it's not really the film that gets to me but the nightmares I have at night, haha. Something thaty scared the hell out of me was 'The Orphanage', I can't remember the Spanish name, but I watched it with a couple of Spanish friends and it was in subtitles. There was this bit with this old woman after she got hit by a van that scared the hell out of me. I shouted a very rude word and fell off the bed we were crammed onto to watch it on the television. The film itself is generally not scary, but that bit scared me so much. I won't say what it is in case anyone ever watches it. I was mocked for a very long time about that.

I don't like zombie films, so automatically anything with zombies. Oh, 'Creep'. I HATE that film. I'm a Londoner. I was like 'I am never going on a train or tube train again in my LIFE', which is easier said than done. Even my hardened horror junkie friend got spooked by that film. Us Londoners don't like anything scary about trains apparently =P

And for the record, Depp's face in the remake of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', in fact, the whole thing DID give me nightmares for about a week.

I generally hate anything with blood and guts. I mean, I'm not naturally squimish, but the idea of all the pain and stuff is horrible. It's like, if you watch someone getting an arm ripped off in a film you can't help but think 'that must hurt'. I haven't seen 'Splinter' but the idea behind it was enough to freak me out, and even the trailer for 'Gnaw' scared me so, so much. If you want you can look both those films up. I wouldn't recommend it, though =P

Probably the fact that it's a factory that deforms children.

It was just.... horrifying.

Event Horizon.

After seeing it I felt like they were coming after me. Scared to stay home alone. I talked to the dog a lot after watching that movie, just for company :P
But really, it's frightening.

The great artists of our time are the ones who created something timeless. But it was never them defining it that way.
Everyone has a story. What's yours?
