Gilmore Girls - March 4th 2009, 05:22 AM

I would just like to dedicate this thread to the Gilmore Girls. This is one of my all time favorite TV series. I own the entire series and just today decided to start re-watching it all. I just love everything about it, the characters, the cute little town, baby Jared Padaleki. It is all wonderful. For all of you who love this show, pay homage here please. Thank you.

I think they ended the show perfectly, the last episode was such a tear jerker lol And Taylor's speech was disgusting yet...so Taylor.

Who do you carry that torch for, my young man?

Or do you carry it around just to burn things down?

so let's strap ourselves up to this engine now
with our God who we found laying under the back seat.

I like watching this show a lot. I actually have the entire first season on DVD, too. Sadly, though, I can almost never find it on TV at decent hours. Not that I sleep at decent hours, but.. xD

I love this show, the characters are priceless, and I'd love to have Lorelei as a mother

Whenever I'm down, I know I can watch them and instantly be cheered up. Yay for everyone else who loves them as much as I do! <3

That has got to be THE best quote EVER!

I loveloveLOVE this show! The script is so witty and funny. And you just can't help but scream at the telly when Laurelai and Chris don't get together, or when Jess does something to make Rory bad. Although Jess is pretty hot. : P

I wish I had Laurelais as a mum. And I wish I lived near Lukes diner. And I wish Lane was my best friend. And I wish my town had crazy events ever other day. Okay, I WISH I WAS RORY!!

Love that show! Can't say it enough!

I love this show so much, i got my mom hooked on it too. I have like the first three seasons so far, at some point i want to get all of them.

Having life like Gilmore Girls would be fun. Though for me my life is a tiny bit like it, because me and my mom are a lot like Rory and Lorelai. It is so funny sometimes. Now this is making me want to watch it again.

Re: Gilmore Girls - March 5th 2009, 06:35 PM

this thread is so cute to read, just saying. As a Gilmore Girls lover myself (i have most of the series on DVD now), it's become my ultimate comfort show...if i feel like staying home and escaping the stupid world this is the show that always makes me laugh. I love the constant references; i remember that in one episode they mentioned Fiddler on the Roof (I believe Luke and Lorelei were helping with it) and I went crazy, cause I love that musical. <3 SO yeah. Amazing show.

I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS!! I have all the seasons except the last one on dvd. My mom and I used to sit on the couch every week to watch the new episode. It was our show. lol. I watch the dvd sets so much, like said before, its a comfort show. Any time you feel sucky, just pop in a season of it and you feel better lol
