Mac Users: New virus to be removed from update - March 7th 2016, 07:20 PM

This came out over the weekend for Mac users to install/update called, ransomware which infected Mac users, from users who use Transmission.

The CBC article found here, explains it.

I didn't download/update this over the weekend but if you did you can install a new update that you think you've been infected would removes the ransomware.

Have questions or would like to chat send me a PM

I wouldn't download anything if you have feel you have a virus which is highly unlikely then I would simply restore the mac to factory settings or take it to Apple. You get a lot of virus talk and rumours surrounding Apple products because they are so safe to use but I have never come across one. I indeed heard about the pug that was going around but theres always one going around just avoid dodgy websites and risky downloads you should be fine.
