The best software to scan for viruses etc: SuperAnti Spyware.

My dad's an I.T man and he says it's the best for scanning bad viruses etc.

I use Kaspersky on all of my computers. It is the absolute best. I recommend it to everyone.

I haven't heard of Kaspersky (until now) but Norton didn't work so well on my computer.

I use Spyware Doctor. There's a lot of lag (it slows down your computer) but it does it's job so.. I guess I'm happy.

I don't use virus protection. That's just how I roll.

If you don't use virus protection, at least get the free protection software from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

It is very light and you wouldn't even notice it.

Kaspersky is the better out of the two. I've had Norton miss stuff, such a pain.
