Windows Live Messenger Resetting info -

Hi i need some help finding out why my windows live messenger(MSN messenger) keeps resetting all my info it randomly started happening 2 days ago my name that should be showing up in convo's i have keeps resetting back to just my email & my display picture keeps getting reset also along with my personal message. and it only happens on the messenger program but if i go to my "windows live profile" page thing all my info is still there my name display picture & personal message.
 its almost as if there are out of sync i have tried everything changing my info back on messenger and it just keeps resetting everytime i log off and back on i have tried reinstalling it restarting my computer everything i can think of  can anyone help me out? i have used messenger for 4 years with no problems then i just randomly get this 2 days ago also i'm not sure if it matters but i just recently got a new computer sorry for the wall of text!
