Unhappy Going from red to ombre? - June 16th 2013, 09:46 PM

This may be a little confusing and long but please help me!
I've been dying my hair red using L'oreal HiColor in the color, Magenta.
I was planning to use ColorFix to strip way the hair dye, I heard it could turn your hair coppery orange so I was also planning to get a dye that is closest to my natural color which is dark brown. With the ombre, I was planning to use L'oreal Feria Wild Ombre #060.
My concern is if I strip away the red dye, dye my WHOLE head brown, then do the ombre effect on the bottom half of my head, since it is bleach, would it turn orange?
Or would I just dye only half of my head dark brown and use the ombre kit on the bottom half that is stripped from ColorFix?
