confusion! - April 23rd 2014, 09:28 AM

I am going to a reception which I know is going to be a very very formal evening!
I have cute black dress that I am planning to wear.
But what shoes do i wear?!!
Nude pumps, black wedges or neon green pumps?
I really want to wear the neon ones, but will it do, for a formal thing?

It's your choice. I personally would chose the black wedges, but it's for you, not me. I doubt that the neon shoes would cause any issues, and they would look good. I think as long as they're not a major distraction to the other guests then they should work.

I agree with Josey as well, although neon shoes would look cool with the black dress. However, it might be considered not formal. Hope this helps!

I agree with the others. I think nude pumps or black wedges would be the most appropriate shoes for a formal occasion. I hope your reception goes well!
