any tips on how to apply eyeliner? - July 9th 2010, 01:48 AM

Ive never wore it so i have no idea how to apply it, i would like to know how to apply it on my upper eyelid, my eyes are a little bit round and i want them to look less round. Help!

Go to youtube.
They have so many how-to's and tip videos on how to apply make up. Just type in how to apply eyeliner in the search bar.
We can all try and explain to you on how to apply it but it will just be better if you see it for yourself.

I agree with Ashley. Youtube has really good tutorials.
Also, practice is key. You will need some practice to be able to apply eyeliner well. (:

Well, what usually helps me is to slightly pull on the end of my eyelids (you know, like how you used to do when you made silly faces to make your eyes like slits?) so that you have a straight line of skin to apply the liner to. Also, if you're a beginner, I'd recommend getting a cream eyeliner pencil - the pencil allows more control than liquid liner, and the cream liner glides on gently so you don't need to apply a ton of force to get any color on the lid. And the most important thing is practice, practice, practice!
