What eye makeup can i wear with red lpstick? -

usualy i wear really dramatic back eyeliner, but apparently that looks to overdone with red lipstick, because your supposed to play up the eyes or the lips right? never both?
so, what can i do for my eyes? |

When you play up your lips, you should definitely keep your eyes simple. Use a bit of mascara and some liner and/or beige/brown eyeshadow depending on your skin tone.

Maybe Mascara , or maybe eyeliner, Even though i have to admit that for me red lipstick and eye makeup seems to much. But there's girls that can pull it off.

Thin line of black on the bottom, and then a few coats of mascara bottom and top. That way your eyes don't disappear, and it looks great.
 I usually go the opposite direction easy on the eyes and a semi nude lip. Unless I'm clubbing or something, then I go for dramatic((=Stay Beautiful I believe in pink<3
 I'm not so great with advice. Could I interest you in a sarcastic comment instead? |

Thin eyeliner and mascara, you want the attention to go to your lips
You could also do some neutral colored eyeshadow.

I agree. Since all the attention is on your lips, either don't wear eyeshadow or wear one that is very subtle (light brown.. peach... etc.)

Personally, I love going dramatic with both, but only if it's a special occasion.
 If you're talking for like an everyday job or school or something, you could look overdone. If you're fine with that, don't let any "rules" of makeup tell you what you can and can't do.

The only thing I can see fitting with bright red lip stick is dramatic black eyes.
Not racoon like, but just black mascara and eye liner.

I think maybe a thin black line on your top lid, and a dark dramatic line on your bottom waterline and a couple of coats of mascara. Nothing too much. Less is more in this situation

You can use simple little bit brownish colour makeup to your face and use Ash colour eye shadow and thin eye liner then it will be a perfect.

You could use a midnight/royal blue eyeshadow with a small amount of black eyeliner and/or mascara. Like this
A very nuteral coloured eyeshadow, some mascara on the top lashline only and a "cat eye" eyeliner in black (on top only) Last one, a nuteral fleshy pink eyeshadow, very thing amount of black eyeliner all the way around and a very small amount of black mascara |

I think you should either have dramatic lips or dramatic eyes. Both look too much.

You can still use eyeliner but not too much. Because your lips are gonna be so bold the rest of your makeup will need to me more natural.
