Question Why is my Hair so DRY? D= - July 12th 2012, 06:43 AM

I wash my hair with this Axe shampoo and some of the communal conditioner that my whole family shares, but my hair just dries out and gets all kinky and curly after i dry my hair. Anybody know how to fix this?

Even I've dry hair and I'm quite worried about this. One of my friends has suggested HairX Anti-Ageing Treatment Capsules and I've started using it. Till now it's been working......but let's see. I am also suggested to drink loads of water and have a good diet.

Just like every person has different types of skin (dry, oily, etc) we all have different types of hair. I have naturally dry hair myself, and it can be tough to deal with. What I do is just use a really moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (I recommend Dove). You can also get a leave-in conditioner which you don't rinse out to help keep your hair healthy. Don't rinse your hair in really hot water and wash your hair every other day. Oh, and use as little heat as possible. That all should help.

And here you are living, despite it all.

As Nicole said, it could definitely be just natural. However, it could also be the shampoo you're using. Not everyone is going to react the same way to certain products (especially not like the people in the commercials either). For someone with naturally dry hair, like myself, we need to use moisturizing shampoo's and conditioners. I've been trying loads of different ones, and so far the only ones that really do work are either Dove or TresEmme. Both of them have made my hair silky smooth after washing.
