Color's not fading! - August 8th 2012, 09:49 PM

Help! I dyed my hair purple back at the end of May and some of it blended in with the blonde I got done at the hairdresser's. Well, the purple's gone now except in the parts where it's blonde. It's blue now!

My mom used to tell me when I was dying my hair blonde between 1998 and 2008 that my hair would turn green if I got store-bought dye. I can't believe she actually allowed me to do this! I'm freaking out! I have to be a bridesmaid in thirteen month and my hair is growing slow as hell!

There are a couple easy fixes for this. Go and get some Color Oops!, its non damaging. It shrinks the hair dye molecules so that when you wash it out the color can slide out. You should also get some Head and Shoulders shampoo, that stuff is pretty clarifying so it tends to make hair dye fade faster.

And here you are living, despite it all.
