Dyeing my hair auburn red :D - September 2nd 2013, 05:14 PM

Hey guys! I've wanted to dye my hair auburn red for a while now. Currently it's brown. All different shades. I'm not sure why it's like that. I've gotten highlights before and then dyed it black, so maybe that's the reason. But anyways, I know there's like different shades of auburn. Like there's one that is Brown with a tint of red or something? I don't know. I was just wondering what brand you guys would recommend. I don't want one that's too brown or too red. I want it more on the red side, though. And thanks in advance for your answers

bullshit, you fucking miss me.

Well, it's all about preference. So get whatever makes you happiest and don't worry about what anyone else thinks. Personally I love red hair. Keep in mind that red hair washes out really fast. At the end of June I dyed my hair deep blue and it's still blue, albeit it's more like a teal. But the point is that it lasted for several months! The type of dye I used is called Ion Color Brilliance so anything by them should be durable.

Out of the ashes I'm burning like a fire. You can save your apologies, you're nothing but a liar. I've got shame, I've got scars that I will never show. I'm a survivor in more ways than you know. 'Cause all the pain and the truth, I wear like a battle wound. So ashamed, so confused, I was broken and bruised. Now I'm a warrior.

How dark is your hair? Red may not show up well if your hair is too dark so you may want to try Garnier Nutrisse Ultra-color, it's made for dark hair. They even have 3 shades of auburn and a reddish-brown color.

And here you are living, despite it all.
