Hair Help - May 8th 2010, 07:03 PM

So I'm thinking about doing something new with my hair. Up till now my hair has just been straight. I've tried pushing it back and all sorts of other things but everything ends up looking like a mess. I see these great pictures online of hairstyles I like. But I try to do them myself and they never work right. I've been trying to find websites that give help on trying to style hair, but all I find is just more pictures. Can anyone help me?

For the record, im a 20 year old guy with dark brown hair.

Do you have any pictures of the style you like? We may be able to help you better if we know what type of style you would like.

Another idea is maybe take some pictures of styles you would like to a hairdressers. They will be able to help you choose a style that suits you and help you learn how to get and maintain the style.

Just chuck on some gel, and experiment. His hair style doesn't seem too difficult.

Its all in the cut, and the gelling. Basically buzzed relatively short with a bit of excess length on top, and then gelled frontwards. A hairdresser could give you the proper cut and show you how to gel it.
