Hi,

You could do this with hair dye but it would take a lot of time to do yourself and depending on how dark your hair is now possibly a lot of bleaching.

If you want to do it then I'd say the best thing to do would be to go to the hairdressers since they'll be able to do this better than you could do it at home and the risk of anything going wrong would be minimised.

I hope this helped!

I suppose you -could- yes. All you'd have to do is find the right hair dyes (I recommend a full shade darker than you plan, because colors fade quite quickly) and layer it. I'd start with bleach. Make it as white as possible, the pink will show up better that way. Then you'd do one color at a time, DON'T try to do it all at once, then it fades and blends and looks like shit. (experience.) I'd start from the bottom up, however the bottom is also the lightest which makes it harder... So I'd swap the colors, making the blue/purple on bottom, and pink on top. It'd be easier, less color fading into eachother and mixing. So, I'd start with the bottom and pin up the upper layers using bobby pins, clips, whatever. Do that color, and a few days later, do the same for the next layer, being really careful not to get it in the bottom layer. I'd put something in between even, or else your colors will bleed together. Then wait a few days, and do it to the top layer.

That's how I'd do it at home anyway, but like Cara said, it'd turn out best if you go to a professional hair dresser.

Take me seriously.
I dare you.

That is amazing, but if you do it, make sure to go to a hairdressers if you haven't tried anything extreme with your hair before otherwise you could seriously mess it up.

Well first, if you did do that your hair would be perm'd. Friends tried doing crap like that and it was cool and all until a couple months later they realized that the dye doesn't really come out, and even when it does your hair is still tinted. I mean do whatever the hell you want, but make sure it's what you want.

Did they use colored hair like this? Because all the colors that I and my friends have used, like obviously not natural color, pink and blue ext, the colors faded and went away completely in a matter of months. Colored hair is much, much different from natural colored hair. I became auburn for awhile, and while it faded back to a brownish tint, it never did completely go away. This is what it sounds like for you, as colored hair is almost always semi-permanent, even if you do bleach it
