Keep growing or chop it off? -

I've been trying to grow my hair out for a while, and it's about shoulder length. Sometimes I resist grabbing the scissors because I want long hair, but yet I want to color my hair black and cut it like off of Catwoman:

keeping growing it, its worth it. im at the same awkward length where i wanna chop it but i know i'd regret it in the end.

I'd say grow it out too, because lots of people chop off their hair and end up regretting it. Plus, you can do so much more with long hair and it typically suits more people than short hair does.

I do have to agree with the above posters, despite the fact I don't think my hair is longer than an inch...
I went in stages to short hair, because I wasn't sure if I would suit it, and if you really want long hair, just don't do it. You'll regret it. My points for short hair: manageable, it looks different near everyday [cause it never does the same thing twice..stupid hair], your wax stick will be your best friend, and a LOT less colds. But then again, there's being mistaken as a lesbian [happens far more than I'd like to admit, the Doc martins probably don't help matters] the lack of extra warmth in winter, and the fact that sometimes I don't feel incredibly 'sensual'. Basically, what I'm trying to say, is do what YOU want with your hair. If you really want it short, then go for it, but since you've been trying to grow it for a while I think it may be upsetting. Also, if that's you in your Avatar I think you have fantastic bone structure to pull it off, but its your life and image. I am in the same boat as you. I love long hair and want long hair and I am growing it out. Its at my shoulders now but I have to get it cut into a bob to get all of the awful damage at the ends off so it can grow. Every time I would have it to this length, I would go and get it cut something short like what you posted.
I would say keep it long. If you want to play it up and have change when you get tired of the length, just search youtube for different updo's and ways to wear it to make it look short. Always remember to put your happiness first.
