Hair dying?

My friend was able to convince me that I should dye my hair red again. It accidently went red when my sisters and I tried for auburn. It then went purple finally to auburn and now it's going back to super dark brown.

My hair holds colour super well. The temp. die that should last a few weeks? Lasted monthss and my hair STILL has a bit of extra red in it! I'm planning to get it prof. done when I go into my next cutting which will be this month.

I'm a bit worried people at my new school will think I'm fake for dying my hair red. When I had it dyed last year my friend said (not in a mean way) "You didn't seem like the person who would dye your hair". My friend told me today she said that because I didn't seem like I wanted to.

So.. Opinions? I'm thinking a fairly bright red... I have bright blue eyes and my skin is usually kinda pale-ish (not excessively so though), and I loved having red hair.

I absolutely loved having red hair, and still do. Problem is that red faded really fast for my hair, and it got expensive to keep redying it. Now I have bright blue hair, and I never get anything but good comments, never "omg she's so fake" Besides, who the hell cares what other people think? Do what you like! So go for it, 100%

Thanks That's what my friend said. I'm trying to change from caring about what people think, so I guess this would be a good way to start, yeah??

When I started working at my newest job, I didn't have my natural color. I had dyed my hair a light reddish brown and it was growing out. I have a weird color brown hair naturally. I then dyed it blonde. It turned out a little orange, so I bleached it. When I went to work everyone kept calling me "Sarah 2 ~name has been changed~" Because there was a lady that had blonde hair that we worked with. This upset me because i am not like anyone else nor was i trying to be. Plus the person they were referring to me as was just not a good person in general. Then when I cut it shorter, everyone said I was trying to be like someone else. So they started calling me "Tara ~name changed`"
I even had a guy come up to me who does not look good himself, nor does he hae a "pretty" wife and say "You know, blonde isn't a good look for you"
So I replied with (and this was NOT the best reply but it was the first thing out of my mouth) "You know bald is a good look for you but you don't see me complaining. If yu want to criticize someone, why don't you go criticize your wife"

Now, I never had anything against his wife and i do wish I hadn't brought her into the situation, howeverm he never said one thing about my hair again. We still talk on a work basis or swap recipes. But he doesn't criticize my hair.

I think whatever you do to your hair is okay. As long as it makes you happy. It's YOUR hair not theirs (:

Hahahhahaha that's really cool! If my school allowed colours like that (I even need to see if bright red is allowe xD) I would definitly dye my hair that colour.

Your right, it is my hair. And I'm trying to get into the "don't care what others think, just do your own thing" kind of mindset (I love acting, so that is kind of needed xD) and this will probably force me to do that.

My school's "Dress Code" is "No extreme hair colours". Does this count? Because red IS a natural hair colour!

If you keep telling yourself that you don't care and live your life how you want, eventually you'll find that you won't need to pretend.

It worked for me anyway (I used to be insanely self-conscious).

I actually went red myself on Friday and I love it.

hahaha thanks!! The more I think about it the most nervous I get (My school's dress code is no extreme hair colours, but I'm just gunna say red IS is a natural colour xD)

I wouldn't consider that color to be extreme. They probably mean like blue, green, pink, stuff like that.

Really?? Wow.. Thanks That really makes me feel better. I guess I'd find my way to work around it if I do get in trouble for it xD My principal has a soft side for me.

I think red will be okay. But as people said, it does fade very fast. But I have red hair and I love it
