Question Whats the best hair straightener? - March 23rd 2012, 08:45 PM

Im looking for a hair straightener and i would like it to be around $50. i have curly hair so it would have to get pretty hot. thanks!

I found this flat iron but its a bit over how much you want to spend. However it is made especially for high heat. My best advice is to go to whatever store you get your hair products and take a look at the flat irons they have there. They usually say what the max temperature is on the box, so just compare them and find the highest one. Remember that it will also be the most damaging, so get a good heat protecting spray.

Actually I have the same brand as Nicole, but blue & a little bit different. That's here. I think it was more than I usually would spend, but I had a gift card. It's great though. What I did was compared ratings on each straightener to see which was best for me.

I use 'BaByliss Pro 230 Radiance straighteners' and they are amazing.
They have a steam setting which is great for when my hair is especially curly and my hair stays straight all day. If you have thick hair they're great too because they have like a built in comb.
