Told my ex off! - December 31st 2011, 05:58 PM

Yup.

He was being rude and quite hurtful in the comments of one of the songs I had posted, had a complete lack of respect for my opinions. Instead of just getting upset about it and trying to calm him, I did the polar opposite, and calmly told him that he was being an ass and needed to shut up. Which he did, and apologized and deleted himself from my Facebook, along with the messages he had posted that were really asshole-ish.

I am very proud of myself for not letting him get to me, and for standing my ground when I knew I was right.

Congrats on staying strong Ana! That was a brave thing to do, and hopefully now you won't have to deal with him being rude anymore.

My only worry is that I have one, possibly two, classes with him next semester. However, I don't think that will be a problem at all, which is a good thing.

Just try and avoid him in those classes and don't make eye contact. That's what I do

Hey, Ana. Good for you for standing up for yourself. You shouldn't allow yourself to be treated with anything but respect. For the future, my advice is to just try and ignore him the best you can, there's really nothing else that you can do. Good luck!
