Question General Question. - September 29th 2010, 11:55 AM

Well today I went shopping because it's the school holidays and I thought I'd give myself a break from studying. Anyway normally I wear skinny jeans (mostly black or grey), a shirt (mostly white or black), a jacket (mostly black) if it's cold and my boots or ballet flats (mostly white or black ). But today I decided to kind of wear something a little different, not so much but just a little bit. So I decided to wear my black skinny jeans, blue Superman shirt, a black leather jacket, my black Raben's and red lipstick. And I noticed then I got more attention. Normally if I'm wearing my usual outfit then the guys who are serving me are like "It's [insert price] please. Thank you. See you later. Next please." But I don't know if he was trying to be nice but when I went to pay for my CD's at this music/entertainment store, the guy that was serving me (and I must say he was pretty cute ) was making small talk to me. He was like "How's the weather out there? Does it look like it's going to rain?" I strutched up my face haha and was like "It's alright but it's a bit windy." And the guy was like "I hope it doesn't rain." I'm like "Yeah." Then I finished paying said "Thank you" and walked off. But another time when I was at a resturant for Father's Day, I wore a polka dot, black and white dress, a necklace and red lipstick and apparently the waiter was checking me out.
So what happened today? I know I sound like a retard () but I'm curious.

I feel that if you make an effort and present yourself nicely, you'll get more positive attention from others. I think wearing colourful clothes and some make up makes you look more confident and friendly, than if you just wear all black.

I think it's kinda just how it goes. But it might give you more incentive to wear brighter clothes and make an effort

I think the outfits that got you more attention showed your personality more because they showed more individuality than black jeans, white/black shirt and pumps.

Perhaps you look really sexy in cute outfits and red lipstick. It usually happens when you dress up and present yourself nicely, gussy up a little bit with a little make-up.
