April Fool's Tricks - April 1st 2011, 06:23 AM

So, I decided to run over to the 24-hour convenience store across the street to buy myself that huge birthday cookie the size of my head, because I had nothing better to do.

And when the elevator door opened, there was a person with fake blood covered all over and a badly torn up shirt, lying in the elevator floor.

Anyone else up for sharing how they were fooled today?

Re: April Fool's Tricks - April 1st 2011, 09:22 AM

I'm in Hollywood, one of the top things to do here is apparently become a scientologist. My facebook page now makes it look like I'm another avid follower of scientology advising everyone to convert for a better life. My ENTIRE facebook page is changed to reflect this. I truly wonder what kind of reactions, if any, that will bring on. Lmaol!

Plus people KNOWING ME will more than believe it too - I've always been a cult target! LOL! YAH!

I personally have not been fooled yet, but a Friend of mine had our teacher call her dad and convince him that she was getting suspended. We had him going for about 20 minutes.

I totally forgot about it and freaked out when one of my Facebook friends posted a picture of a positive pregnancy test.

I had a 40 question test plus a one paragraph essay on Macbeth after we've been reading it for about two weeks(Watching the movie sped up that process.) We reviewed and looked over our study guides about the play and my english teacher told us to clear our desks of everything. Then she exclaimed, APRIL FOOL'S! it was an open book test.

Status report - my family is up in arms and my Mom called me worried that it was true. Yes!!!! My friends are probably going out of the brains, out of their minds, I am a scientologist baby... NOT! Being a screenwriter in LA though? People would easily believe. Oddest part about it is the page looks like a PARODY of scientology. I even said I was getting married to a girl I had met for less than an hour. Lmaol. No idea how anyone can buy that - it's an SNL version of a scientology facebook page.

I planned one for this site but goddamn Rob, the project coordinator, always take too long to reply to his PMs. Today's April Fool and he still hasn't reply yet. The PM was sent 4 days ago, too.

Seems like I just have to wait until next year and remember to PM him earlier, like 2 weeks before or something!

I really don't prank anyone and nobody ever pranks me. Uneventful, I know. I'm really unoriginal when it comes to this stuff. >.>
But everyone on here has had good pranks so far. =)

Most of the ones I've seen have just been newspaper stories, which to be fair are usually pretty funny but it's somehow not quite the same. Facebook has also been fairly quiet. Creativity just ain't what it used to be...

EDIT: That Scientology one is just priceless...respect.

I managed to make it through the entire day with no one pranking me.
And of course I didn't do it to anyone either.

Re: April Fool's Tricks - April 2nd 2011, 03:07 AM

Only prank that I pulled today, was that I made cookies for a dance I was going to. And I got my brother to try it and we told him that there was a surprise in it. And I just stood there laughing, and he started to like break apart the cookie and was smelling it and looking at it. Just to make sure I didn't do something. He ended up eating it, and I was laughing so hard.

I didn't actually put anything odd in it, I was just acting like there was to get him. So worth it.

I convinced one of my close friends I was pregnant.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

I got tricked by Megan on here, but thats it.

I managed to pull small ones on people, telling them there was something on their faces. My science teacher got tricked 3 times... 1st he was told someone fell down the stairs, 2nd (my favorite) he was told that if he pressed f13 his interactive whiteboard would unfreeze...there's no f13 and last, someone in my class put a whoopi cushion on his chair and he sat on it.

My college was full of pranks :L
we swapped the salt and sugar around, put thumbtacks in the couch, took the pool balls out of the pool table leaving only the black one in there, we took the screws out of a chair, we took a teachers book when they turned around and then when she turned around again we put it back and it really confused her, we put up a fake poster, my psychology teacher said we had an important test and I went around and put masking tape on the bottom of EVERY computer mouse in the college so it wouldn't work

I was going to get my dad by wrapping papering all of the doorways in our house so when he opened the door he would have to rip down the paper to get through but I would of had to do it at like 2am and he didn't get home from work in time and I fell asleep.
