What slang words do you use? -

What are types of slang words that you guys use like everyday. (Ex. Oh snap, Whack, etc.) At my school we say stuff like:
That's DEAD! - Means something ain't gonna happen like that or when something is "whack" as in boring. That's BUM - Something tastes good, something smells good, someone looks good. Pretty much it means something is good lol. It's like a variation of "the bomb." You're ug or he/she is duck - Pretty much the person they're talking about is ugly. Swell Up - Shut the hell up. I've never a lot of those haha. Since I'm a londoner, and my area is full of chavs, a lot of the people at school use words such as Bruv, Fam, you got boyed, jam your hype and such. I find it a foreign language. I do use words such as 'bare' meaning a lot occasionally, but i annoy myself when I do. I use 'init' aswell. I can't say I'm a bug user of slang though. I can't stand it when people at school say 'you're a boomting'. I'm just sat there thinking, "uneducated chav man say what?"

Mine is all scouse slang. I didn't realise how much was slang until I went out of Liverpool and confused people.
Swerved means to break up with someone or to avoid something or someone. "I swerved her" and when someone asks you to do something you don't want to do the response is "Swerve that" Jib can also be used for the same thing. Meet is "snogging" (I have heard this used in other places too not just Liverpool) Our kid means younger brother or sister. Skint means poor Kex is men's trousers Ta is thank you Over the water actually just means the Wirral not like America or anywhere far... Also people from the Wirral are called Woolybacks or Wools (not sure why) Geg in means to join in on something when you aren't invited. Ozzy or Hozzy is a hospital |

I'm not even sure what slang I use... We have skint and ta here. Also, love, mate and duck. Cob is a breadroll Mardy is someone who's being moody Not really slang but we say "going t'shops" and miss out the to sound. Snap is school lunch Not sure what else really.  |

I don't use all of these, but just a few expressions that we use here in Canada.
Skrill: Money. (How many skrills you got?) Peace: Goodbye. Troll: Someone ugly, or someone who has a good time pissing off other people. Bro/Broski: Friend. LG/LB: Little girl/little boy. Used to refer to a younger kid, i.e. grade seven. LG slayer/LB slayer: Someone who tends to date or like younger people i.e. grade seven. Yeee: Yeah. Aight: Alright. There's more, but my mind is dead right now.
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. she dingy'd me etc means to ignore someone, accidentally/otherwise - like not answer the phone or walk past them in the street and not see them or like dingy their party (not go) (RAH)² + (AH)³ + RO(MA + MAMA) + (GA)² + OOH + (LA)² = Bad Romance

We say things like...
Whats Squarnin'?- How are you?/What's happening? Skint- Money-less. That's bare dread mon'- That's not nice. Sik'/Sick- Used to describe that something is good. From my county, it's mostly street talk...unless of course you're like me and come from a 'posh' background, so as I'm told.  Just keep following the heartlines on your hand. |
